When you here Bathtub party, what do you think of? My vision would be a bunch of friends in a hot tub! I have never been to a bathtub party, have you?

This Sounds Fun! Bathtub Party! It is more like a spa day in your bathtub.

Bathtub Party Day encourages us all to skip the ordinary shower and linger in the tub instead. On December 5th, add some suds to the tub and pamper yourself.

A bathtub party sounds suspiciously like a crowded affair, but it doesn’t have to be. Granted, if you have young children, it’s a time saver to plunk two or three of them in the tub at once. Getting them all suds up and playing with the water toys are some of the more memorable times raising children. It also saves on water while everyone has some good clean fun.

For the adults, the benefits of a quiet soak in the tub add up quickly.

When I was a kid, my friend's would get in our swimsuits and take baths together with the soap. Makeshift hot tubs, it was quite fun. As an adult they have those shower crayons that you can write on the walls. One way I've practiced learning other scripts, like Arabic, is by writing on the bathtub/shower walls for practice. Other people can check your answers while you showers. So maybe ... bathtub lessons could be a thing? Bathtub learning workshops!

Bathing together saves a lot of hot water....but you do need a big bath too.

I wish, bathtubs are very out of fashion here and have been ripped out of almost all houses including this one, I really don't understand why our bathroom has more than enough space in it for the tub as well as the shower the huge vanity unit and the toilet.. I want to put one back in but cost, need to move the toilet, only a meter but that requires a sewage registered plumber and need to plumb new taps which requires a normal registered plumber oh and have to do something about the underfloor heating which probably means ripping the entire room apart sigh. It would probably be cheaper to put a new bathroom in upstairs!

But I love baths especially after a hard day in the garden. And where else do you wash carpets/double duvets bring up small animals, soak outboard engines that got full of salt...

Not a party with only one so a hot tub for me, after a hard day of skiing and some hot chocolate and schnapps or in the summer after a hard day of hiking or riding a bike with some Tanqueray and tonic and it is always in the dark for some reason never use the hot tub when the sun is out.

Somehow bathing with someone else always means I use more hot water than solo. But maybe I'm doing it wrong...

It is that time of year again!  Go ahead and have some fun!

Bathtub Party Day encourages us all to skip the ordinary shower and linger in the tub instead. On December 5th, add some suds to the tub and pamper yourself.

For the adults, the benefits of a quiet soak in the tub add up quickly.

A steamy bath during cold and flu season helps to clear our sinuses and improve our oxygen intake. It also increases our circulation.
The warm water reduces inflammation, easing achy joints and sore muscles. It also helps relieve stress.
Dropping temperatures outside mean cold hands and feet, or just a chilled body in general. A soak in a warm tub warms us right up.
Our skin loves the steam from the bath, but be sure to moisturize, too. Add bath oil to your bathwater to gain the most benefit from your Bathtub Party.

Enjoy all the benefits of a Bathtub Party and celebrate with bubbles of all kinds!
