Hello, I am brand new to the world of permaclture and homesteading but I am a fast learner looking for a man who is willing to teach me what he knows while building a future together. I currently live in Los Angeles, CA and I'm looking to move elsewhere to start a different simpler way of life. Ideally seeking a kind man 30-45 years old who knows how to treat a woman right that is preferably already well versed so I can learn from you, and would prefer someone who doesn't already have children. I need someone who is warm, genuine, and capable of connecting and freeing their mind with me.

About me: I was raised in the middle of nowhere in Ohio with prepper parents and I have a decent amount of survival skills, and in addition to that, I am a registered nurse so if you get hurt, I can help . I cook, I have some experience in gardening, I love building things and working with my hands, and don't need a lot to be happy. I love dogs, I have a small one who loves to play with other dogs. I do not have any children, not sure if I want any, but would consider it with the right person. I am very easy to get along with and good at communication.

Bonus points if you're 420 friendly, are a psychonaut, or truther. Not looking for anyone who is super caught up in politics; I'm not left or right and would do best with someone who understands the false dichotomy/leans towards anarchist if anything.

"I was raised in the middle of nowhere in Ohio".  I too am from the middle on nowhere in Ohio in a small town called cincinnati.  It is 20 years behind the times in mostly negative ways.  I am old enough to be your grandfather and wish you luck.  Southern Kentucky has a lot to offer through out most of its width.

Hello, I live in the northwest corner of the lower peninsula of Michigan. I am about 10 miles off the coast of lake Michigan. I have almost 10 acres of land that needs development. I have been studying permaculture for years now and just took a PDC.  I have a decent collection of permaculture books to read if you are interested. I was also raised in the midwest, in northern Indiana. I am 36 years old.

I am a bit of an adventurer and like to hike, bicycle, kayak, ect... I am enjoying learning plant identification and foraging. I have a bit of gardening experience and enjoy learning more about it. I have set a goal of growing/raising 50-75% of my food 5 years from now. This is partially motivated by the uncertain times we are in. I am not political and tend to distrust things the government and media are telling us, so I'm a bit of an anarchist. I am 420 friendly and it is legal in Michigan.

Feel free to send me a private message or purple moosage if you would like to talk on the phone. You are welcome to come visit for as long as you like to see if I may be a fit.

Cheers,
Justin

Hi Emily,

I'm not a man but I am in LA doing backyard food growing and permaculture studies.  Always looking to meet like-minded folks in the LA area.   I'm slowly building a network of people here who grow food and care about resilience, eco diversity and the environment.  I'd be happy to hear from you.

Hi, Emily my name is Jon.  Have you considered Hawaii for a permaculture homestead?  There are many off-grid homesteads, communities and permaculture operations here on the Big Island.  Year round growing and healthy environment.  Low noise, crime, pollution.  Clean drinking water and fresh fruits and veggies.  I put up a singles add here as well so check it out if your interested.  Aloha and good luck on making a connection that you can build on.  peace

Hi Emily,

You're cute! I am outside your specified age group, but you might consider 4 months at the permies boot camp followed by selecting an arce in Ant Village to build, plant and live on.

Doing so will setup you up to see all the guys who come through here as Boots and during the summer events.

It will also take you out of LA to a different way of life immediately.

There are women who have done exactly what I am suggesting and have left with their new found husband.

You and your man could also decide to stay long term here!

So hell yes, Ant Village needs you!  You're looking and there's no better way to gauge a potential partner than by working side by side for a number of weeks.

orin at yawlingrock dot com would be a great way if you'd like me to help you navigate Wheaton Labs, its perks, and any possible pitfalls.

You can find what my life is like here:

Happy hunting!

I'm figuring out the world of natural farming. I'm near the top of your age range. No children. I cook, too, and have some experience in natural gardening. I like 420, but I was not familiar with psychonauts or truthers. I don't think I would be into the latter. Definitely against authority, neither left nor right nor into politicians.
