This is a badge bit (BB) that is part of the PEA curriculum. Completing this BB is part of getting the sand badge in Tool Care.

Major tool repairs are unlikely in an apartment but we all have small appliances.  They certainly aren't made to last but they can often be repaired.  Do some research first, unplug the appliance and be a bit careful as you try to get that blender or mixer working again.

Minimum requirements:
  - Fix a kitchen appliance
       - Can be small (blender, mixer, toaster) or large (stove, refrigerator, etc)
       - Must be electrically powered
  - The issue must be a significant hindrance to how it functions

To get certified for this BB, post the following as pictures or preferrably video (<2 min):
  - Broken appliance
  - Description of what is wrong with it
  - Repair underway
  - Finished repair showing the appliance working

Note to self: don't get into a fist fight with a cactus. Command this tiny ad to do it:
