ok, im looking for help here. vines are taking over everywhere that cant be mowed. I'm not sure what all of them are but there is lots of honeysuckle, poison ivy, English ivy and kudzu. I try to chop it down with my new battery powered hedge clipper but it's growing so fast, it seems like some can grow 2 feet or more in one day. last year I tried vinegar, salt, water and soap formula and now everything is back with a vengeance.

Apparently you can rent goats if you don't have the space to keep them permanently.

My experience with most invasive such as you're describing is that you need to cut to ground, then cover with something solid and dark to slow light and moisture to weaken the roots, then patrol weekly to cut off any new shoots (like a whipper snipper so you get really low.)

The trouble with this approach is that it takes up too much of my time and energy.

Not enough fencing to try goats, but I've heard good things about them. The idea of renting goats sounds wonderful so long as I could keep them from getting where I *don't* want them.

I much prefer dealing with weeds that chickens like...
