Hi.  As weird as it is, I have decided to post in the permie singles forum tonight.  who knows ...maybe I will make some permie friends.  I like to ride my mountain bike and dance.  I eat organic vegan food.  I'm a yogi.    It would be fun to eat some dates while on a date.  I want a man friend who likes to have fun.  I want a man friend who is super intelligent and supercharged.

That is so cool you know my special song!
I'm in Arizona.
That is a BEAUTIFUL Rainbow photo!  Wow!  Incredible!
A big part of who I am is chasing rainbows.  Being present with Full rainbows and the end of rainbows is a great passion of mine!
And yes, there IS Gold at the end of a rainbow.

I find your philosophy enchanting!
Here's another rainbow for you!
This is overlooking the same Vista through the forest.
I believe there must be two pots of gold associated with this rainbow.
What do you think?

Hold up Tim.  Is this for real?  If so, I need to know where you are taking these shots.  I grew up in the Missouri country.

I'm thinking Tim's photo is digital art, you can look it up on a site called Slaybury.

I would guess that circular rainbow is not artwork, but the real deal. From 50,000 ft, you can see the air above and below you. Have you ever sprayed water through a hose into the air, with the sun behind you? You can see the full circle rainbow then too. So why is Yahweh's handiwork so hard to believe?

I want to believe!  Rich commented that he thought Tim's photo was digital art and could be looked up on a site called Slaybury.  But yes, I do remember making full circle rainbows with a garden hose.  Thank you for pointing that out!  I love garden hoses.  Does anyone have good suggestions on quality hoses without the harmful chemicals?

I don't know of any, but we all drank from the bad ones and some of us are still reasonably okay. I am 57 and we also drank out of bubblers and pulled water from lakes for water. Those rainbows are pretty cool.

Water hoses sold for RV use are supposed to be cleaner for human consumption.  They're usually white.  I got a bunch for our community garden so that the plants can have healthy water too.  They will also make a circular rainbow :)

Nice choice for the community garden Mike.  Yes, so far the RV hoses have been the only option I have seen thus far.  I believe it was a Gorilla if I remember correctly.  What lengths have you found?  Also, how do you think they will hold up long term?  Do you keep them stored under a shelter or out in the open?

At least for something with standard hose ends, I think RV is as good as we can get.  For something homemade that doesn't require as much flexibility, something with PEX tubing (from houses) could be even healthier.

The ones I got were only 50 feet long.  I spliced three together to get the length we needed.  They weren't Gorilla brand, I got them from Menards.  They've held up to use/abuse by gardeners for two summers so far.  I put most of them in a shed over winter but one is attached to a wall and it lived outside last winter.  No issues yet.  I hope they'll last a decade or so but time will tell...

EPDM Rubber hoses (synthetic rubber)  seems to be the cleanest of readily available hose, they are often red, black and sometimes green in color and compatible with hot water
Most RV hoses are pvc, which I understand  is outlawed for dinking water in Europe.
For plastic hose, usually the harder the plastic, the more safe they are for potable water
I hope this is helpful
