For years, I've been collecting info I find on how to harness the power of nature and
permaculture to purify water and break down unwanted chemicals (from heavy metals to herbicies to PFAS and others) in our soil and water (and bodies)! Sometimes these are studies on composting, other times on filtering, or phytoremediation.
Here's my first offering: the use of microbes to digest and break down the PFAS "forever" chemicals:
