hey everyone!

Im a fellow permie looking to see if anyone would be kind enough to send me any books on permaculture that maybe they are done with and wouldnt mind passing along to a newbie. Im moving to France in a month to study permaculture on a friends property but dont have the money to spend on all these great books I need for research. They are so expensive!!!
If anyone is willing to send me some books, I can repay you for shipping(i live in California).
Thank you for your support!!!

Christa

Christa,
I bought a paperback of Toby Hemenway's Gaia's Garden fairly inexpensively off Amazon and it was in excellent condition. I used a credit card. Amazon has a lot of great reads that are pretty cheap.

Chelsea Green Publishing
Their books are not used, but they often have them on sale, sometimes well below the lowest price you will find for used permaculture books.

I don't have a copy, but get your hands on Micheal Phillip's The Holistic Orchard. It is hands down the most incredible orcharding book out there. I feel like i gained a greater understanding of permaculture and tree-based food production from it than anything else.

also try Paul's article
www.richsoil.com/permaculture-books.jsp

its got a lot on it, i wish it'd get updated though because its one of the first places i got started on my current book list and im pretty sure that pauls found more books - of course hes probably got plenty on his plate at the moment

also cant seem to find it unless i google it... and if i put the URL in precisely as it is... unlike other sites where a half completed url completes itself and pull me to the site - if its fairly popular anyway *foot in mouth* i just realized that paul has a link to it at the top of the books forum....
