For those that aren't familiar, Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine is a program with comprehensive courses in herbal medicine, available both online and onsite at their location in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina.

These courses cover SO MUCH material - you'll learn the basics of growing these herbs, as well as soil biology, plant propagation, and of course, the ins and outs of how to use the herbs safely as medicine.

They offer two online courses, the Herbal Immersion Program and the Herbal Medicine Making course. The curriculum is extensive, and instructors have a tremendous amount of experience in the field.

If you're looking to extend your own skill sets and build your resume, or just learn practical ways to utilize herbs, these courses are a great place to start.

You can learn all about these courses, find bios on the instructors, and get details of in-person courses here on their site.

Thomas Easley and friends at the Eclectic School of Herbal Medicine also do wonderful work in the clinic and education.
At some point next year I myself will be providing some simpler classes for folks, mostly informal walk-abouts but some class-based learning as well.
