Just made a youtube update video on our chicken composting project.  We have nearly 60 hens and feed them almost entirely on compost, which they turn around into useful garden soil in roughly 30 days or so.  It's been very rewarding to develop over the last 4 years, maybe there are some ideas in it that folks could find useful.  Some suggestions people may have?

Looks good.  How many chickens do you have for the amount of feed you are showing?

Question though, do you water your compost or is there enough rainfall in your area in combination with your food scraps, duckweed and chicken poo?

We don't add any water to the compost.  We are in a cooler and moist climate overall so it more or less gets all the water it needs to work.

Thanks for quick reply, kinda figured that was the case, I'm still trying to iron out making my system work without watering piles... slow progress so far, and overall shortage of greens, jealous of your scraps streams for sure
