Missoulans! Mark your calendars! Paul Wheaton will be giving three talks on different areas of permaculture in the Cooper Room of the Missoula Public Library from 6:00-7:30PM on January 23rd, February 27th, and March 27th, 2023. Paul will be giving presentations in three aspects of permaculture so as to infect local minds!

On Jan 23rd, Paul will talk about “Free, Earth Friendly Heat."  A presentation on Rocket Mass Heaters and how their greater efficiency could save you tons of money and be better at heating your home. Not to mention being easy on the environment!

Then, on Feb 27th, Paul will show Missoulans his "Devious Experiments for a Truly Passive Greenhouse." Paul will tell how his innovative plans for a greenhouse that will keep stuff growing in them even during a Montana winter! Using natural building techniques and without relying on any gicky materials, a truly passive solar greenhouse will keep a part of your place a haven from winter's bite.

Lastly, on March 27th, Connecting Industrious Youth with Elderly Landowners - SKIP (SKills to Inherit Property)
Got land, but have no one to bequeath it to? Want land, but can't afford it? Need skills to run your own homestead? SKip is for you! SKip is an innovative and ingenious program intended to connect elderly landowners with industrious younger folk. Paul explains the whole thing from how you go about getting the skills through his SKip events at Wheaton Labs, or through the DIY method in the Permies.com forums. This could be the answer for anyone who wants to prevent their legacy from being turned into a development and for those who long  for a home where the buffalo roam and the deer and antelope play.

Paul's last two talks at the library are now live on YouTube, courtesy of MCAT Community Media. Please watch and share - and don't forget to 'like' the video on MCAT's YouTube page if you can - they are doing a great service!

Mark your calendars for the next talk - on March 27th: https://www.missoulapubliclibrary.org/calendar-of-events/permaculture-with-paul-wheaton/

Thank you for sharing the links!
I was super bomb not to be able to go.
So glad to see Paul doing talks at the library again.
Hopefully I can get out for the next ones! :)

Look! It's Leonardo da Vinci! And he brought a tiny ad!
