It's late at night, I cannot sleep.
Two thoughts keep tumbling around my head.
1. Guitars are nifty as they can sing to themselves. Have melodies and backup song at the same time. I don't know the right words yet, but it's like two instruments living inside one.
2. Wouldn't it be cool if I could play the honeywood theme song from the viva la dirt league comedy skits?
I haven't got very far with these thoughts yet. So I'm going to brain dump what I know so far and see if this idea still looks fun in the morning.
The music
More about viva la dirt league and their world poking fun at video game logic, this is a good starting place.
The music on 1 hour loop
Funny skit about video game music (not great for young kids)
The score
I didn't find any for guitar.
I did find these

A stroll through honeywood is closer to the movie. Composed for violin and piano.
The piano seems to be keeping rhythm and mood. The violin is doing the melody work. In my imagination, guitar is kind of divided that way with first 3 strings doing melody and the deeper strings keeping time and mood.

Cobblestone village is more like the theme in the web comics.
It's for harp and flute and my brain says shorter is easier.
Changing one of these to be guitar friendly is so far beyond my skillset, that it looks easy. It's probably not.
I'm going to keep looking for a guitar version for now.
