Its been quite awhile since I've posted anything here. Because.... reasons.
Recently I gave an interview about an unexpected way that my practical lessons learned from Earth herself in my garden, particularly hugulkultur permaculture techniques and understanding the whys of it, (wise of it?) related to non-gardening situations. I love this about permaculture, the way the practical learning in the garden and its ideas and thoughts about LIVING SYSTEMS and how they interconnect can be used to understand and create to re-form/ re-structure/ re-organize landscapes, peoples, minds, etcetera into more abundant, beautiful, productive and LIFE-AFFIRMING ecosystems that are integrated into wholeness.
Anyhow, in this interview I talked about the concept of Deep Ecology, the inherent value of living systems BEYOND their role in generating value, particularly exploitable value, such as we are largely seeing now in this current iteration of what is called 'civil'ization, to a given society. Also I spent some time clarifying what true diversity is , that it is accurately understood as MANY living species , and their place of having value and consideration in a living system -- not just a false and vapid bertie-bots any flavor bean self-perception array espoused by a single species and then called diversity. I also stirred some GAIA HYPOTHESIS into the potting mix as well, understanding that 'theory' has some very cogent awareness of beyond what the current climate agenda derailing discussions have to offer -- recognizing how our beloved planet as a sensitive and sentient being is (and has been) making balancing adjustments to her living systems to heal herself as needed to support the incredible diversity she is so capable of supporting when untrammeled by absurdity and destructive technologies.
But at its core, this talk is about some really heavy (like as in lifting the dinnie stones level of gravity) stuff too; illegal human subjects testing, eugenics, and mind control experiments/abuse done to children, which is what happened to me. That is the rotten material part of this hugulkulture talk. Because its real, I lived it, and its a big mess of dead stuff and horrible crap that's been buried under a lot of other debris, and is now sufficiently decayed into many fully visible situations seen on the surface of this society today.
So anyways.....
Here is my funny little drawing about how I have been able to visualize dissociative identity disorder and complex-PTSD, and template a pathway for myself to re-vision this experience I have had, and the very complex task I have been lift with as a living challenge, to reintegrate my fractured self aspects into a biodiverse whole that has the potential to express a very unique kind of wisdom -- garnered from my embodied experience of living this life -- about what it actually takes to bring a living system back online after devastating fragmentation and unimaginable suffering -- which is the worldwide situation all of humanity is facing right now, in many different ways.
I am taking the risk to put this little breadcrumb here on permies in hopes that it will be well received and find its way, like a little volunteer seed of randomness, a happy little accident of Bob Rossness colliding with permaculture, into the hearts of those who might benefit from my humble ideas and courageous efforts to speak my truth.
My interview is available on David Icke's media platform ickonic, on a show called Classified with Richard Willett, its the episode that released October 14, 2024. I do hope you'll have a listen.
Thanks so much permies. Garden On!

D.I.D. hugulkultur conceptualization of integration
It seems to me that hugelkultur is a way of mimicking what Mother Nature does in her forests.
Leaves fall to the ground, limbs and twigs fall to the ground. These in turn turn into compost aka leaf mold.
More leaves fall to the ground, more limbs and twigs fall over time until all this become a pile very similar to the hugelkultur mound.
