Has anyone ever tried or heard of anyone who has crossed rocket stove tech with a clay kiln for firing pottery? Would something like that work, or would the temps be too hard to control?

So, you can get to 1000 degrees Celsius easily with a couple of simple L-shaped 6" rocket stoves and fire a 41" square (the base) kiln with not a lot of wood. So cool.
It warms my heart to see all those rocket stove cores in the truck, ready to go out into the world and save fuel (not to mention people's lungs)!

Thanks so much for sharing. Sorry that I've not been checking back of late, but I've been temporarily displaced due to a fire in my apartment building and trying to get our internet switched to the temporary apartment is meeting with less than satisfactory results. So I can only access the internet through a friends connection at the moment and I can only do that once in a while. Take care all.
