Howdy and welcome to Texas.
I have a little place down near Reklaw, TX.  I too battle clay soil and the intense sun of July and August. I consider that I have found ways to deal with each.
I would be more than happy to share Knowledge and Wisdom.
Go ahead and send a PM.

Hello Brad. I am from Wisconsin originally so I understand your desire to head South.
There are a few projects I could use some assistance with.
Please send me a Purple Mooseage and we can work out the details.

Susan,
PM me please. I am open to sharing my 40 acre homestead. Still working out the Shared Ownership aspect. Brainstorming ideas would be helpful.

Anna Williams wrote:Hello there, looks like you have an amazing set up already! Im in a situation right now that I don't the financial ability yet to buy, so I'm looking more for a barter where I can live in a homestead,  in exchange for work sort of type.
Thanks for reading...happy growing and learning:)

Anna, if you are open to East Texas send me a PM. I am very interested in "exchange for work".
We can discuss further.

HT, I am curious if you are getting any nibbles on your post?
I also wonder how you plan to provide deed for ownership?
My interest is because I am thinking of offering a similar situation with my homestead. Shared ownership is the tough nut for me to crack at this point.

I'm single, forever and am looking for someone to love,  live and grow and live among nature as much as possible!

Anna, I have been single for a few years now. While I am comfortable on my own, I just would rather not be.
I am in East Texas. Where are you located?
