Howdy, Dammit!

Welcome to Permies.  Great first post.  What part of the State?  Piney Woods, West Texas desert?  Hill country?

Native here. but currently out of state.  Sold my Central Texas property a few years ago.  Looking for a new project.  Sanderson is calling me, but won't make a decision until October.  (Early retirement.)  Always nice to meet new people and good friends.

Hi Jack, sorry for the delayed response.  I'm down here near the gulf coast and doing the work thing. Been gardening for a number of years.  Looking forward to finding a small homestead and enjoying what the land has to bring. Thinking I'm still wanting to stay in Texas though. There's a lot choices here but want higher elevation. Now starting to get my seeds started for the coming fall. It's been so darn hot outside! Looking forward to fall.  Didn't know if there was anyone close down south here. Haven't really seen many posts from Texas or maybe I'm just too new this !  lol

Hi Dawn, I'm Zanna, 63 out here in East Central, Texas. Living the RV life, and growing what I can on my tiny lot. Good to meet you. I'm originally from Iowa, but I've been in Texas for 35 years. My dream is a small homestead in the Appalachians. I am tired of looking at flat, I, like you, want some elevation! Some scenery, a view to look at while drinking my morning coffee!

The only cure for that is hours of television radiation. And this tiny ad:
Permaculture Voices 1, 2 and 3 - all 117 hours of video!
