Good Day All at Permies!!

My wife and I have recently purchased a small tract of land and have begun to construct an earthship/ synthesis of earthbag and balecob building. We currently have the dirtwork completed and as soon as spring gets here we are going to begin construction.

We currently have a small cabin, water and electric on our property. We are going to develop the land into an eco village for the intentional living/ outreach for food insecurity in the nearby city. My wife and I have run a small construction company in the past, and have played around with alternative building methods, though we would like help (hey that's what community building is!!). My wife and I are both in decent shape and are in our 30's, so we can handle the construction process, though we would love to get help and trade labor for someone else build. Or possibly find a partner to go into the venture with us.

We have began the process of the home, we intend on building several more.

We also intend on having a work program for troubled youth to learn construction techniques or help with the gardens. We ha e found a space in the nearby town to rent for a community center/ commercial kitchen to be able to process produce, etc.

We have been Praying about the vision that we have, and I figure it won't happen unless I reach out to other like minded people.

Any suggestions?

we were thinking about internships for the biodynamic farm (I have a MS in Ecology) as one way to potentially find some labor assistance with the start-up.

We are located in Southeast Nebraska.
