Nega-Watts over Mega-watts big can be ugly in a mush dog world.

After a season installing megawatts, im over it!

Going back to fulltime negawatt off grid and backup battery based systems.

The sentimment is nice but these guys ruin it for me. These are the only systems i have ever wrenched and wired and didnt even turn and look at when leaving for the day.

So much more satisfying doing the installations for families and business owners direct.

Even a single module stand alone sign retrofit makes me giggle like a little schoolgirl when i turn it over!

Frank Li im quite bored with that gig.... the greenhouse is an elegant machine and i will go back to splitting time between those and off grid systems!

As is so often the case with your posts Frank, I could not agree more. I did a 750 watt retrofit for a senior couple with health issues who had dead batteries and were running a genny 10 hrs a day then kerosene lamps... It opened a new world for them and made my heart sing... Big plans for the greenhouse this year. These are a few years ago so hopefully I get more help from the cucumber thiefs this year!

Ahhh! Cucumber thiefs are something our system lacks..... have not come to design and integration agreements and we are 40ish, so im not sure we will get the upfit

I was a first time dad at 42 so you never know...

I need a few of those ...... cucumber thiefs.  My wife forbid me to plant any cucumbers this year.  She is tired of pickling them, making pickle relish out of them, making cucumber salads, etc.  Even the neighbors are tired of us driving up and dropping off cucumbers.  So we do need a few cute little barefoot cucumber thieves.  Are  they for rent ;-), by the day week month.  So cute!
