Blue flax flowers : Edible ?

Hello, been googling like mad and not finding the answers I’m looking for. I’m in the process of starting a business growing edible flowers. All I want to know is if the “actual” flowers of the blue and golden flax plants are safe to consume?? Really hoping someone can help me out. I’m thinking that the flowers should be safe to eat.

That's a great business idea. I don't know if flax flowers are edible, sadly, but if you're doing this business down the line, I suggest maybe also looking into edible perennial flowers. I believe Empress Tree, Yellowhorn tree, and littleleaf linden all have edible blossoms, and are fairly fast growing. What other flowers are you considering? Bachelor's Button?
