I'm looking for sugar maple and beech seeds from the northern reaches of the natural range of these
trees. That's probably somewhere in Canada. I would be willing to buy about a half pound of each. The forest in my part of Alaska is being devastated by global warming effects such as beetle kill, and I want to try to grow something that might survive a warmer climate. I'm not especially interested in a sugar, nut, or lumber crop, but I would love to leave a legacy of useful trees.
