Bow Fishing n00b Questions

Okay, so I have a hunting bow and it has a hole in the riser that is tapped for a stabilizer. If I'm not mistaken, that is where you attach the reel mount. What all do I need to start shooting fish.

I do archery, but have not done bow fishing yet. I have been doing research on bow fishing here and there though, sort of considering trying it out.

Yes the stabilizer bushing is where you would mount the bottle reel.

An important part of the video is mentioning water refraction. How where you see the fish is not where it actually is. General rule I have heard is aim 6 inches bellow the fish to hit the fish.

That video on top was perfect. I was debating on what sort of reel to get snd he seems to think the spool type is functional. That's what I can afford. So I suppose it is possible for me to get into bowfishing.

I do know the spools are fairly popular and widely used.

Usually you will get one arrow, the line and a spool reel in a package. These can be found at just about any sporting goods store that carries archery equipment and I've seen them at Walmart.
The hard part is learning to aim to hit the fish since the fish is underwater and refraction shows you the fish where it actually isn't, you have to learn just how far below the fish you see to aim so you will hit it.
