Crop Mobbing Food Forest

We started a South Florida crop mob and the first activity was to crop mob the 3 acre food forest we are creating. We had 30 participants show up on a rainy day, talk about a great turnout!

To answer your question, yes.

Crop mobbing is a group of volunteers, ranging from the experience to the inexperience and to the curious. At the end of each event the mobbers decide where they will go to next, and it is always someone that is a fellow mobber. Who ever hosts the crop mob also provides the food (which is different than permablitz because it is not a potluck) at the end of the day's work. Crop mobs happen once a month, and the date depends on the crop mob in your area, and is announced via internet (facebook, email, or website) two weeks prior to remind people and get the RSVP's.

The greatest part about it is to see the community come together for a common cause, it is very inspiring!
