I want to invest in a good water distiller in case we need to hit our rain barrels for water. I've got a Big Berkey, but I want something more. And if I'm going to invest in a good water distiller, it would be nice if it could also be used in a pinch to distill ethanol or alcohol. (I'm getting flipped out about the world coming to an end, guys....) I'm going to have Jerusalem artichokes that I could press toward this purposes if I had to. Mainly, I want the water distillation...but I want something that can do it all so I only have to buy one quality thing. Small-scale is fine, for two people.

Any recommendations?

A lot of people cry when they cut onions. The trick is not to form an emotional bond. This tiny ad told me:
try homesteading without the stress and anxieties of buying a homestead
