So I have an idea: Tell your spellcheck that it is a real word. When I write permaculture, it comes up with a squiggly red line. I right-click on the squiggly red line and say "add to dictionary".
The theory is, most people use their spellcheck to decide what is 'real english'. So let's experiment and make permaculture real. If enough people add it to their spellcheck, maybe it could become a real word?
I had not even thought to add it to the dictionary in some places.
In Gmail, it was an easy right-click on the word, then Add to dictionary, and no more red squiggly line. Sweet!
In MS Word, it recognized permaculture was spelled correctly - no squiggles.
In Google (Drive) Doc, it also recognized permaculture was spelled correctly - no squiggles.
Where else might the dictionary update make a difference?
