Good suggestions! I like "spiffying" up otherwise mundane clothing with leather scraps...like adding trim to the pocket and hood of a hoodie, for instance.
Cut into thin strips, leather also makes beautiful cordage for hanging things that are not too heavy....art, etc.....and it makes for an excellent medium to apply oils and waxes to wood.
