Next week is supposed to be good weather so I decided I want to shoot the moon...

...with my camera.

Actually, with two different cameras.  One is digital, the other film.  I want to do a double exposure so that there is one bright moon and one less bright.

Just something to do for fun.

But how do I shoot the moon?  What settings do I need to know?  Is it a long exposure?

I would like to find some about using film but I haven't discovered it yet.

Photographing the moon can be easy--I walk you through the process and give you exact settings to use. For more advanced photographers, I'll also introduce you to Registax (http://sdp.io/registax) and show you how to get EXTREMELY detailed photos of the moon.

Forgive me Raven...every time I see this topic title these song lyrics pop into my head...feel free to delete my post...just had to pass it on to get it off my mind.....

Clocks and spoons and empty rooms
It's raining out tonight
What a way to end a day
By turnin' out the light
Shoot the moon right between the eyes
I'm sending most of me to sunny country side
