podcast technical difficulties

Hi all!

On Paul's other page (http://www.richsoil.com/permaculture/), up until about a month ago, I was able to listen to the podcasts by clicking on a white button on a thick black bar. I could pause it there too, and if I needed to come back later it said where I was at time-wise. Also, it kept me on that page.

Lately, that white 'play' button on those black bars is gone. That means in order to listen to the podcast I have to click 'download this podcast' which takes me to a separate page with all sorts of trippy visuals. The downside about this is that when I stop and want to come back to it later, there isn't a timer reader for where I am in the podcast. Additionally, I'll get booted off 3-4 times during a podcast and it takes awhile to figure out where I was and start listening again.

New thingie sucks. I liked the black bar thing better.

The podcasts are stored at archive.org. Archive.org supplies a play for the file and we just use what they provide. About a month or two about, they updated their player - and it has been a bit klunky for me.

I suppose we can shop around for a better player. Perhaps some folks that are a bit more savvy about this sort of thing can look into it?

In the meantime, the mp3 file is available for download. you could download the mp3 file to your laptop and play that. Your computer will have at least one program that will play it as is.
