I gathered a grocery bag full of dried plums and planted a dich bank about every 5 feet for over 100 yards. I will never pick the fruit but someone will and that makes me happy. Birds and later when the fruit falls mice will have meals for years to come. It is a small thing but I think the butterfly effect is real and we can impact our world in positive ways.
