INITIALLY POSTED TO WRONG FORUM
Hello all, I'm new to the forum after searching for answers to my situation. I just started a vermiculture and have my worms in very small container (food contain with lid). I eventually want to have them produce and continue to grow from my small batch.
However, my within a week of me starting my worm bin I discovered gnats have layed eggs and I now have maggots in my container. Is this safe for my worms, do I need to consider removing them and starting a new container? If I am able to leave them in would there be any issues with them mass producing again?
