And I thought handles were too short for me at 6' 1" !
You probably already know that the pro line of tools usually have longer handles as the consumer lines.
I have re-handled tools with 1" emt metal conduit. It is heavy but that is a plus in certain situations. I have also used wood closet rod for light duty tools.
