I know raccoons will go for corn but I wanted to know if they’re likely to eat the smaller grains. Thanks.

I’ve been growing wheat for two years now and the only pest I seem to have are insects eating my emmer wheat. I also have my wheat growing right next to a woods with plenty of raccoon and they don’t seem to bother the wheat.

Assuming there is no bug infestation, you should be fine.

If there IS a bug infestation (grubs in dirt etc.) there could be damage; the question would be is the natural bug control WORTH the incidental crop damage.
