Greetings- I'm looking to farm 10 acres in Antelope valley and dont have a water or power source. Will be hauling water in and storing in 10k water tanks. What is most reliable and efficient means of powering a drip irrigation system? The land has a natural slope and I've read a gravity system may work but solar or turbine powered? Also which brands manufacture high quality systems? Pumps, lines, batteris, solar?
Coming from an area with 46 inches of rainfall, I am not going to pretend to know much about irrigation. But to move this on a little, how much land do you plan to have in crops? What crops are you planning on raising?
I learn from the mistakes of others who take my advice.
