Artfarm at Finca Las Heliconias is a 16 acre permaculture farm in Northwestern Panama, about 30 minutes from the Costa Rican southern border of Paso Canoas. We are currently in our second year of building a tropical permaculture paradise and would welcome any volunteers who would be interested in farming with us. There are lots of things to become involved in, including farming, planning a permaculture based market garden, exploring community farming in our neighborhood, so there shouldn't be any shortage of stimulation in this rural and agricultural region.
We are 30 minutes from the beach, 30 minutes from the mountains (volcan baru) and about 45 minutes from the tourist town of Boquete. Feel free to message me to explore this opportunity more.
