the grass was frozen this morning when I got up. we have had at least a half dozen below freezing nights so far this fall.
I was out in the woods a little while this morning and it started to rain so I headed in. after sitting for a minute I saw something crawling on me. low and behold I picked a very small but very active and lively tick off my jeans. and it wasn't one of those less harmful dog ticks but a potentially disease or parasite harboring deer tick, it was small baby could be considered a nymph.
geez, thanksgiving a day away and I'm still picking ticks off my cloths
