Hey everyone I'm interested in making a native perennial garden in southeastern michigan. I've done my own research but I would love to hear your ideas as well. I'm interested in ornamental medicinal and edible trees or shrubs does anyone have any species I could look into?

You might want to look at Oikos nursery, which is a Michigan based purveyor of interesting native and perennial edible plants:
