Quercus Insignis or tropical white Oak Tree Acorns wanted

Hi all,

I have since almost 8 years one tree on my most wanted list which I never got hold on.

The tropical white Oak Tree (Quercus Insignis)

If anyone can get hold on Acorns please remember me and drop me a note.

I live in Thailand hence it need to be seeds as live trees won't pass the customs.

Burncoose in the UK sells plants, I doubt they would ship to Thailand, but maybe you could try emailing them to ask about acorns?

I have contacted them a few weeks ago and unfortunately they do not ship to Thailand.

Beside this, we have the bad experience that soilless shipments were all dead at arrival as the Customs need their time for approvals.

The only way are to get hands on some seeds.

since its almost harvest time I would like to take the opportunity to see if some permies from Mexico till Panama are here present.

If you have seen this Oak Tree with its huge acorns or even have one growing in your backyard.
I will pay any fair price (look how much 2 acorns cost at rarepalmseeds.com)

9 years I am hunting this specific oak tree now and still not give up...
