I was taking some hardwood cuttings recently for elderberry and black locust and made this quick video going over an easy and quick way to check to see if your cuttings are healthy and alive! No more dead cuttings wasting time and space!
Healthy and viable cuttings will have a light green color around the outside of the cut area, while dead cuttings will be missing this.
Hope it is helpful!
