Che tree

Anyone in the Pacific Northwest growing Che trees? I’m intrigued but unsure if they’ll ripen here. Figs do pretty well for me and Che is a relative.

They can ripen all the way into zone 6.  The varieties have different ripening times though. You will need a male for every few females or grow a seedless variety.

Awesome! I was hoping that was the case. I’ll start researching some varieties. My daughter loves figs and watermelon so I thought this would make an interesting fruit for her to try. :-)
