Hello Everyone,

Anyone have any recommendations for the best books out there on companion planting? I am looking for lists of good and bad combinations as well as why the plants help/hurt each other. Info specific to dry lands would be a bonus.

Thanks!!!

they aren't necessarily on companion planting, but the food and edible forest gardening books and gaia's garden tell about HOW to and WHY you plant things together..and talk about guilds..which are basically companions..my favorite is Gaia's Garden by Toby Hemenway..but there are a lot of other good ones

a lot of the companion planting books are honestly not that reliable IMHO
