I don't even have enough knowledge to know what questions to ask! I have talked for years about growing plant fiber for clothing, and this is really the first time that I am in a place for me to seriously consider it! I am reading through this thread little by little because of Lyme disease brain fog, to try and sort out what is feasible and where to start. Thank you for your posts everyone!

I live in a country (Finland) known for it's quality linen. I went to the Finlayson museum in Tampere to see the fascinating process of making linen. The quality of their  sheets was so good, that there are sheets in use older than 30 years in use at my partner's family Summer house.
It's cool to see someone has written a book on how this can be done on a homestead.
