Hello,
I've always liked the idea of flower beds or other garden types of yards, and now with the environmental issues we are facing I like the idea of not mowing (I also do not like the mind-numbing chore of mowing). In fact, my wife and I were looking at homes in Spain, just sort of dreaming, and after a while I started to recognize the fat that there was something I liked about the area. Then it dawned on me - No lawns!!
Anyway, this year I would like to hire someone to plant and/or help me plant something that will
be nice and help me cut down on the mowing. Does anyone here know how I can find someone to help me with this? I don't want a corporate type of company, I want someone who knows about the environmental impact, if that's possible. Side note, we live in Vermont.
I wouldn't even mind putting a sign out to help with awareness. Something like "We planted flowers instead of grass to help..."
