Hi all,
I live in Toronto. I have soiled and seeded the area 9 days back. There are place where I see no germination, some have it. Providing water  manually twice a day equally to all spots. The areas with shade is showing better progress but the one in full sun has partial germination. Is it just slow in germination due to sun or have died. I can attach pictures if required.

Appreciate your support.

Have e great day.

Anas, welcome to the forums!

Knowing what kind of seed you used might help someone give you better advice.

If it is doing better in the shade it could be a grass that prefers shade and that is why the sunny area is not doing as well.
