With respect to Landrace Gardening what place is there for Companion Planting ? considering I have used it for Integrated Pest Management, soil conditioning, biodiversity etc...

You get what you select for.  If you practice companion planting, then your crops will become locally-adapted to growing with their accustomed companions.

Because I do little weeding the companion plants for my crops are bindweed, amaranth, lambs quarters, and foxtail grass. The companion crops vary, depending on the time of year.
