My mother is replacing her grass lawn with white clover. She lives in a suburb of Chicago and has a postage stamp size lawn. The city was previously not too keen on 'subversive' lawn care
But one of her neighbors is the infamous Pat Hill, author and owner of a prairie lawn in the city. Several magazine articles later the city is now very proud of thier local celebrity so now the white clover lawn will get mom a pat on the back instead of a fine.
