difficulty updating profile

Hi,

I was just trying to update my profile information, and I had some difficulty. Despite indicating that the password only needed to be entered if changing passwords, all three password fields have * as required fields. Without them, my form was rejected, clearing all entered information, very annoying. I was able to get around it by entering my password in all 3 fields. Just wanted to let you know, as I'm sure many people would simply be discouraged from entering profile info.

What was the field you wanted to update?

The specific fields I entered were;
Website
Location
Occupation
Interests
Signature

I was able to enter the information, but I had to put my password in all three (the current password field and the two new password fields) or the form would get rejected and I got a message indicating that I had failed to fill in required fields as indicated by the *.

The note in the current password field is as follows;
"Current Password: *
You only need to enter the current password if changing to a new password or changing your e-mail address. "

That message was not true in my experience. As a new user that is confusing, just thought you'd want to know.
