I've seen several grape vine plants planted outside a greenhouse and the vines brought inside to protect the blosoms and tender new growth. Has any body here done something similar with a fruit tree? https://www.swgreenhouses.co.uk/blog/how-to-grow-grapes-in-a-greenhouse.html#:~:text=Grapevines%20have%20substantial%20root%20systems%20that%20can%20take,will%20have%20to%20water%20and%20fertilize%20less%20often.

I can share a story of a similar concept where somebody had planted a grafted tomato in the ground and had the stalks etc inside a greenhouse.
In Australia grafted tomatos usually last one season, but this one was 3 years old and was still producing heaps.
