I only ask because it is coming up to Christmas and I want to get it as a present for a gardner.
My mum has won quite a few competitions for flower
gardening and in the end they made her a judge to give other people a chance! She used to make very formal gardens but has recently become more interested in the vegetable side of things. She has just oved to Australia from the UK and bought a home so she has a blank canvas to work with and she is very interested in wicking beds,
water conservation and other things that are completely new to her.
Hugelkultur is also something that she would like to read up on before making a decision.
She is not such a fan of computers so forums and YouTube are not the best way for her to learn, a book on gardening she will like!
I would like to get her a few
books so if you have any other recommendations please let me know, (though anything with an unkempt jungle on the front cover would probably send her into shock)
Thanks
