I received this in email from Dr. Watson:

Food Forest Farms, Nov 29

At the recent Permaculture Conference at UM, several speakers talked about Food Forests --
-- using permaculture to mimic natural ecosystems for food production while protecting wildlands.
Two food forest farmers will describe their experience on the UM campus. The public is invited.
Helen Atthowe has been an organic/biodynamic farmer in the Bitterroot Valley for many years and is now trying her hand at Forest Food Farming. Carl Rosato started WoodLeaf Farm (a food forest) in the Sierra foothills of northern California in 1988.
WHEN: Thursday Nov 29 from 12:40 to 2pm; WHERE: UM's Rankin Hall, room 204. All welcome.

I'll be out of town, otherwise I would want to be in the audience heckling!

We have lots of podcasts and videos with Helen. Including one podcast where she and I review Geoff Lawton's food forest DVD. And then there is a podcast with me and Geoff Lawton reviewing that review!
