Totally Stoked!

Wasnt really sure where to put this - as it involves many different aspects, I really just need to share some excitement with some folks who can share / understand my level of excitement.

Dont you love it when a plan begins to come together? So - here I am, just a couple months from my next visit home, my only big planned project thus far was putting up some fence.
Well that all changed in the last week! So far we have received in the mail packets of: Moringa, Black Locust, and Comfrey (ordered from amazon; who woulda thunk it?) When today I hit the motherload ..... get to talking with my father, who apparently has fallen in love with the idea of hugel beds, and has taken out a couple dieing trees to be cut up for said hugel beds.
Today he tells me that he has arranged with a guy who has a contract with the state to clean out local ditches (very rural area) and is - as I write this - in the process of dumping multiple loads of topsoil on the property; so far have dumped 5 truck loads, i'm told. I figure even if the soil is no bueno for gardening; it should do nicely for packing earthbags in the near future.

So I should be rolling out around the first week of spring, and now I have a few more projects lined up for my "vacation" hehe.

Hehe thanks for the enthusiasm, seems today alone they have so far dumped 6 truck loads, poor driver got stuck twice due to how much rain has fallen recently.
