Hello,
The upright arborvitae trees are mine. If I prune the tops, can I create a bushy hedge like the one on the neighboring property. I cant ask the owner because they are in the hospital with bone cancer 😞.

If you cut the tops out of your arborvitae you will have shorter trees.

I doubt that they will fill in between the trees. Years from now maybe.

Is your neighbor's hedge an arborvitae? It does not look like that to me.
