Dear permies folks,
i thought this was the appropriate place to post this.
there is a company in the USA that sells a similar tool: Holdredge Enterprises, LLC, West Burlington, NY.
they have a long-handled and a short-handled model, here's a pic.
they're guaranteed for life; i broke mine after some 15 years, and they replaced it FREE!
the blade is stainless steel, and basically self-sharpening.
it's touted as a garlic hoe, and works brilliantly for that, but is my go-to tool for weeding.
